My research explores different facets of British cultural diplomacy in the 20th century, ranging from cultural propaganda in World War Two and the early Cold War, to the development of educational and cultural exchanges within the Commonwealth.

I’m currently leading the French strand of a European project headed by the Science Museum in partnership with the LERMA and the Institut d’Història de la Ciència in Barcelona. MaILHoC will be examining the changing relationships between STEM museums and industrial patronage, through both historical and contemporary lenses.. More details can be found here:
